"I like that the Harmony® includes both the visible and non-visible wavelengths. Prefers AFT to IPL
"AFT is a slightly different technology than intense pulsed light (IPL). AFT is more of a flat wave instead of a spiked wave. Subsequently, the likelihood of adverse side effects, which can occur with other pulsed light systems, is reduced. I feel the skin tightening with the ST handpiece (near infrared) is comparable to the 20% to 50% improvement one observes with Thermage. And the two vascular and pigmented lesion AFT handpieces (540nm and 570nm) usually achieve close to 80% improvement in pigmentation and redness."
